To make sourcing from a European manufacturer the easiest option a buyer has.

Manufacturing EU is a B2B marketplace for goods made in Europe. We bring verified manufacturers from across the European Union, the European Economic Area and the wider European continent into one searchable place, translate the negotiation, and hold the payment in escrow until the order is fulfilled.

Why this needs to exist

Europe makes almost everything — and is almost impossible to search

A buyer in Rotterdam can find ten thousand suppliers on the other side of the world in an afternoon, and struggle for a fortnight to find the machine shop two hundred kilometres away that already makes the part. The gap is not capability. It is discoverability. Europe’s manufacturing base is spread across twenty-seven national registries, dozens of trade fairs and a great many websites that were last updated in 2014.

The cheap quote and the cheap order are different numbers

Unit price is the figure that travels. Duty, freight, twelve-week lead times, minimum orders that force a year of stock into a warehouse, tooling you cannot inspect and a quality dispute in a jurisdiction you cannot practically litigate in — none of those appear on the quote, and all of them appear on the invoice. We show landed cost, lead time and minimum order quantity on the same screen as the price, because that is the comparison that is actually being made.

Language should not decide who you can trade with

A Polish textile mill and a Dutch buyer both lose when neither wants to negotiate a six-figure order in a third language. Every message on this platform is translated both ways, in the thread, automatically. Nobody has to switch tools, and nobody has to trade in a language they are less precise in.

First orders fail on trust, not on price

The reason a buyer stays with a mediocre incumbent supplier is that trying a new one means paying a stranger up front. Escrow removes that: the buyer’s money is held, the manufacturer ships knowing it is secured, and it is released on fulfilment. That single mechanism is what makes a first order between two companies that have never met a reasonable thing to do.

What we mean by “European”

European Union (EU 27)

Inside the customs union — no duty, no customs clearance, free movement of goods.

European Economic Area (EEA)

EU 27 plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway — one single market and shared product standards.

European continent

Every European supplier, including the UK, Switzerland, the Western Balkans, Türkiye and Ukraine.

What we hold ourselves to

Verified before listed

Every seller is a registered company with a checked registration number and a real production address. Applications are reviewed by a person. An unverified account cannot publish a listing.

European origin, stated plainly

Country of origin and trade bloc are on every listing. We do not let a re-badged import present itself as European manufacturing, and we say which bloc a supplier sits in, because the customs consequences differ.

The buyer’s money is not ours to hold loosely

Order funds sit in escrow with a licensed provider, not on our balance sheet. Release is tied to fulfilment, and a dispute goes to a process that exists before the dispute does.

No pay-to-win search results

Membership buys tools — RFQ responses, analytics, a storefront. It does not buy a better position in a buyer’s search results. Featured placements are labelled as such, everywhere they appear.

Shorter supply chains are the point

A part made nine hundred kilometres away instead of nine thousand is faster, less carbon-intensive and far more resilient to a closed canal or a container price spike. That is the case for European sourcing, and it is the case we are here to make easier to act on.
